In 25 years of being a wedding photographer, I have never had the honour of photographing at Blaithwaite House in Wigton before. A hidden gem with absolutely beautiful gardens and a grand, welcoming house which is a perfect venue for a wedding. Catherine and her bridesmaids looked amazing as they walked across the lawn to the ceremony which was held outside. The setting was very unique, surrounded by a wildlife pond and trees.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks on the lawn and food was supplied by Lizs country Kitchen. the reception took place in a wonderful barn, which was also used for the night entertainment provided by Fraudio, which were a very entertaining cover band who had travelled up from Warwickshire. They kept the house rocking all night. I finally arrived back home at 9.45pm ready to kick off my shoes and enjoy a Chinese. A lovely day!
