I set off on a wet day to photograph the wedding of Jessica and Andrew at The Merewood Country House near Ambleside a couple of weeks ago. I love the grandeur of this building as you ascend the long driveway to the car park at the top of the hill.

I had photographed the wedding of the Groom’s Mother  five years previously so it was lovely to see everyone again and also meet some new faces.

All the bridesmaids were in good spirits and enjoyed getting ready with the beautiful bride- Jessica.

The ceremony was held at the venue and we did get a break I the rain and were able to venture outside for 15 minutes to photograph the lovely gardens and views.
