Sarah and Lee- The Grange Hotel

What a fantastic day I spent at the beautiful Grange Hotel yesterday, photographing the wedding of Sarah and Lee. I arrived at Sarah’s house at 9am in the morning and enjoyed a girlie chat with hairdresser Shelley Gibson and make up artist, Helen Louise Townson.  It poured with rain first thing in the morning but we were very lucky to have a fine day and the ceremony at Kendal Parish church was lovely. The Bride and Groom made their way to The Grange Hotel and stayed in the new bridal suite which is absolutely amazing. The evening entertainment got under way with music from Kendal band nine lives. A great day had by all.

Janine and Earl- the Wild Boar Hotel

What a beautiful wedding I was able to photograph on Saturday at the Wild Boar Hotel as this fantastic couple celebrated their marriage at The Wild Boar hotel. The tarn behind the hotel was a short bumpy Land Rover ride away and created a stunning backdrop for the photos. You can click on the link to view a few of the images from the day.

Louise and Jamie- Cartmel Racecourse

Louise and Jamie had a very exciting day as they were married at the beautiful Cartmel Priory ion cartmel race day. I arrived early as I expected the traffic to be very busy but all was well and the guests arrived by coach in good time for the lovely ceremony. The wedding car was then lead through the busy village square by a piper and on to the racecourse, which was buzzing with racegoers. The couple enjoyed a reception in their marquee and were asked to choose best turned out horse for the second race, which went on to win by 10 lengths. The couple then presented the prizes. Later in the evening, everyone travelled to The Nines at Barrow -in- Furness to carry on with the celebrations.

Kaye and Richard- the Heather Glen

Kaye and Richard were married at Long Marton Church followed by a reception at the Heather Glen, Ainstable. All the girls had a great time getting ready in the morning and despite the showers, we still managed to have plenty of outside photo opportunities. All best wishes to you both.003

Lisa and David- The Lakeside Hotel

Lisa and David were married at the Lakeside Hotel Newby bridge. The weather was good again! Lisa stayed in The Lodge prior to the ceremony, which belongs to the hotel and is a beautifully light room, excellent for photography. They shared a beautiful day with family and friends and I was also pleased to be the makeup artist for Lisa, her Mum and bridesmaids. Congratulations from Rachel Winter Photography ltd.

Tara and Dan- Storrs Hall Windermere

Tara and Dan shared a fantastic day with friends and family at Storrs Hall. I started the day with Tara as I was her make up artist for the wedding. Her hairdresser was Laura Hill. The Bride’s lovely Mum had made the absolutely beautiful bouquets, which were of great sentimental value to Tara and a very special gift. We were able to make full use of the gardens and the weather was lovely and everyone enjoyed the day’s celebrations. Congratulations from Rachel Winter Photography Ltd.
